Bryan Henry: FAMU Early-signing period a success

TALLAHASSEE, Florida -- The early-signing period for our baseball program at Florida A&M has come and gone. We ended with six players signing their National Letter of Intent (NLI) to play for FAMU next year.

We are extremely proud of the class we have put together during the early stage. We still have a lot left to do in order to finish our class but we got six very talented players to start it off. We doubled the amount of guys we signed early last fall. The best part about the first six signees is that half of them are from right here in Tallahassee.

We are excited to announce and welcome to the Rattler family the following players:

Let’s start with the local guys. Please hold the applause until the last player is announced, just kidding, but I am clapping as I type.

First, from Leon High we have Russell Rauh. Rauh is a 6 foot 5, 175-pound catcher with a lot of upside. Rauh does everything well now and will only get better as he adds strength to his athletic frame.
