NORFOLK, Virginia -- Jalen White and Edward Stephens both scored 16 points and seventh-seeded South Carolina State survived a late rally Tuesday night.The Bulldogs (11-21) will face second-seeded Norfolk State in a quarterfinal game at 8 tonight.
S.C. State made 6 of 8 3-pointers in the first half to build a 19-point lead and withstood a second-half surge. The Aggies (9-23) shot 54.2 percent in the second half to tie the game at 52-52 with 3:43 remaining before S.C. State pulled away.
